During his early years, due to his father’s work, he lived between the cities of Aguascalientes and Acapulco, Guerrero. At the age of five, his family settled in Matamoros, Tamaulipas, where he spent much of his childhood and adolescence.

He later returned to Monterrey, Nuevo León, to begin his preparatory and university studies. He graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from the University of Monterrey (UDEM).

His professional career began while he was still attending university. Between 1984 and 1986, he worked in the credit department at Liverpool in Monterrey, gaining valuable experience in administration and financial services.

From 1986 to 2001, he was part of the family business, Mueblería La Paloma, where he worked in the purchasing department for 15 years, strengthening his expertise in negotiation, administration, and business relations.

Later, from 2001 to 2005, he launched his own business focused on water and air purification systems, marketing products imported from Spain. This experience further developed his entrepreneurial spirit.

Beginning in 2003, he built a solid career as a life and health insurance advisor, representing various companies in both Mexico and the United States. For more than two decades, he developed strong skills in sales, customer service, and personalized consulting, always focused on building trust and ensuring client satisfaction.

In 2026, he joined REA General Contractors, contributing to general construction projects in the areas of project management and purchasing.

On a personal level, Rolando describes himself as someone passionate about challenges. Although public relations represented a challenge for much of his life, he successfully transformed it into one of his personal and professional strengths through confidence, experience, and genuine human connection.

He has been married for nearly 36 years to the woman he always dreamed of having by his side. Together, they built a family with two children who continue to bring him great joy and fulfillment.

His oldest son has made him the proud grandfather of two beautiful granddaughters, while his daughter — whom he affectionately calls “the apple of his eye” — has given him the happiness of being the grandfather of a lively and charismatic grandson.

Among his greatest passions is traveling, an activity he especially enjoys sharing with his wife while creating unforgettable memories together.

He also deeply enjoys sales and customer service, finding satisfaction in exceeding expectations and paying close attention to every detail to ensure each client is fully satisfied.
